Michael Trepagnier - Owner / Operator / Engineer / Producer

Michael built Cardinal Song after years of planning and dreaming about what a modern recording studio could and should be. The results are what you see on this page, and with any luck what you will experience when you arrive.

Michael has been involved with making and recording music since he was 16. It all started in earnest when he bought a Pro Tools rig after high school. That transitioned into a small studio setup in his college dorm room, then into his apartment. After graduating, he went to The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, AZ.

Moving to NYC in 2005, he worked at The Buddy Project and The Looking Glass Studios (RIP). He was able to work with some amazing people on some amazing records.

Michael moved back to Oklahoma City in 2010, where he took a teaching job at ACM@UCO while he planned and began building Cardinal Song.

Aaron Newberry - Studio B - Composer / Producer / Location Sound / Studio musician

Aaron Newberry is an American music producer and film composer for film and television.

He began his career in his late teens touring as a musician, but in the years to follow transitioned into music producing and composing music for narrative and documentary films.
